Recordando los primeros años de la Fundación

Entrada al zoo en 1994 y 2004
In 1992, Sunset Zoo was approached by the City of Asunción (Paraguay) through the Kansas-Paraguay Partners of the Americas, to provide professional advice on renovation and animal husbandry protocols in the Asunción Zoo. In January 1994 a Sister Zoo agreement was established between the two Zoos.

In collaboration with the Kansas-Paraguay Partners of the Americas, the City of Asunción, the Friends of Sunset Zoo, the Sedgwick County Zoological Society and the Fundación Jardin Botánico y Zoológico, Sunset Zoo's Director of Conservation and Research, Bob Klemm, and Michael Quick, General Curator at Sunset Zoo at that time, have provided continuous consultation and visits to the Zoo. Over the years, major changes have taken place, as seen through the images.
